Mining & aggregates
Where dust, abrasion and continuous operation leave no room for a selection error
Mining, quarries and aggregate plants. Superior Industries equipment, complete conveyor systems and on-site vulcanizing — a combination no other Dominican distributor offers together.
On-site serviceHot and cold vulcanizing, belt repair, roller lagging and Teletracker installation — carried out by our crew at your plant.
The problem
The real cost is not the part: it is the stopped belt
In an aggregate plant, an hour of stopped conveyor costs more than the roller that failed. Abrasive material wears the lagging, carryback builds up, the belt drifts and the splice gives out during the highest-production shift. None of those four problems is solved by handing a spare part over a counter.
What the sector demands
Constant abrasion
Material that fractures and wears rollers, mesh and belting at a rate no ordinary industrial application imposes.
Continuous operation
The plant does not stop for scheduled maintenance when production is behind. The component has to hold.
Carryback and spillage
Material sticking to the return belt fouls, misaligns and forces cleanups nobody budgeted for.
Distance from support
The quarry is not next door to the warehouse. When something fails, the response has to arrive with the part and with someone who can install it.
What we bring
